About Sinthan Top
Sinthan Top is a pass at 3,784 m on NH244, the Anantnag to Kishtwar road, about 130 km south of Srinagar and 80 km from Kishtwar town. It lies 37 km beyond Daksum and 48 km from Kokernag.
Snow lies on the surrounding slopes for most of the year and buses cross only in summer. A roadside viewpoint looks over both the Kashmir and Jammu divisions, and the pass is a base for nearby alpine lakes and treks.
