About this trek
This 7.2-km out-and-back trail near Marwah leads through green Himalayan meadows and grasslands to the lesser-known Shilsar Lake, tucked close to Margan Top. The trailhead sits at the parking area on Margan Pass, reachable by taxi or private vehicle. The gentle gradient and rich birdlife make this an approachable half-day walk with big scenery for relatively little effort.
