About this trek

A long, steep day trek from Kullan village near Kangan in the Sindh valley. The trail climbs through forest and high meadows to Gumbar Sar, an alpine lake at about 3,850 m just below the Gumbar Gali ridge, with Handil Sar lying in the bowl beyond it. It is a remote route with few other walkers, and it returns the same way.

Amazing lakes. Gumbar Sar and Handil Sar are well worth the effort. The Gumbar Gali climb is tough, so take it slow and save some energy for it.

The trail on the app is almost perfect but at the end of the ghumbar gali you have to make a trail yourself there is about 50-100 metres of rock climbing not for beginners at all. If there is a slight chance of rain don't go on this trek you will not be able to make it up to the lakes as it's a steep slippery patch.
