About this trek
This trail leads to the twin lakes Nundkol and Gangabal through the scenic meadows and forests near Harmukh peak. Starting at the Naranag Temple trailhead, the route climbs through forest cover into open, high-altitude fields with continuous views of Harmukh, one of Kashmir's most storied peaks. The trail is open from May to September; visiting during the monsoon is not advised.
