About this trek

A lesser-known day trek from Kudor village in Bandipora. The trail climbs through forest, open alpine meadows and mountain streams to Sarbal Sar, then continues about a kilometre further up to Shira Sar (also written Sheera Sar), a clear alpine lake surrounded by peaks. It is rarely crowded, rocky in places, and returns the same way.
