About Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden
The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, formerly Siraj Bagh, is a terraced garden of about 30 hectares on the Zabarwan foothills overlooking Dal Lake. Opened in 2007 to promote floriculture and tourism, it holds roughly 1.
75 million bulbs imported from the Keukenhof gardens and around 75 tulip varieties, alongside 46 other flower types including hyacinths, daffodils and ranunculus. It opens for an annual spring festival.
